Tipitaka 南傳大藏經; 巴利大藏經

(Tipi.taka) (The Pali Canon)

　　指錫蘭上座部所傳之巴利文大藏經。又作巴利三藏。原本僅稱三藏（巴 Ti-pi.taka）。釋尊入滅後，摩訶迦葉等弟子結集三藏。至阿育王時，目犍連子帝須（巴 Moggaliputta-tissa）再次結集，編輯論事。王子摩哂陀（巴 Mahinda）復將其傳至錫蘭。現存南傳大藏經各典籍成立之年代不一，成立最遲之年代被推定為西元前二至一世紀。其內容如下：

一、毘尼藏（巴 Vinaya-pi.taka），即律藏：
　　(一)經分別（巴 Sutta-vibha.mga）*　(二)犍度（巴 Khandhaka）* 
　　(三)後篇（巴 Parivaara）
二、修多羅藏（巴 Sutta-pi.taka），即經藏：
　　(一)長部（巴 Diigha-nikaaya）*　　(二)中部（巴 Majjhima-nikaaya）* 
　　(三)相應部（巴 Sa'myutta-nikaaya）*　(四)增支部（巴 A'nguttara-nikaaya）* 
　　(五)小部（巴 Khuddaka-nikaaya）

三、阿毘曇藏（巴 Abhidhamma-pi.taka），即論藏：
　　(一)法集論（巴 Dhamma-sa.mga.ni）　(二)分別論（巴 Vibha'nga）
　　(三)界論（巴 Dhaatu-kathaa）　　　(四)人施設論（巴 Puggala-pa~n~natti）
　　(五)雙論（巴 Yamaka）　　　　　　　(六)發趣論（巴 Pa.t.thaana）
　　(七)論事（巴 Kathaa-vatthu）

　　約西元前一世紀，始有南傳大藏經之注釋。隨著南傳上座部佛教向東南亞各國傳播，產生緬甸、泰國等國文字之藏經。一八八一年英國成立巴利聖典協會（ Paali TextSociety），將南傳大藏經及注釋之大部分以羅馬字校訂出版。此外另刊行英譯本南傳大藏經。日本方面於昭和十年至十六年（1935～1941），由高楠博士功績記念會將巴利聖典協會出版之巴利三藏翻成日文出版，題為「南傳大藏經」，全部七十冊，其中含有若干藏外書。藏外之注釋有三藏之直接注（巴 a.t.thakathaa）、復注（巴 .tiikaa，注之注）、復注之注（巴 anu.tiikaa）；藏外書則有綱要書、史傳書等。（參閱「大藏經」893） p3748
