A Nága princess, daughter of Dhatarattha, the Nága king. She was half-sister to the Bodhisatta Bhúridatta and helped his brother Sudassana to rescue the Bodhisatta from the clutches of the snake-charmer Álambána.

She could shoot flames from her mouth and spit the deadliest poison.

The story is related in the Bhúiridatta Játaka (J.vi.157ff).

In the present age she was the Bkikkhuní Uppalavanná (J.vi.219) (Accí-mukhí).
