The Sásanavamsa (74) speaks of three monks by the name of Aggapandita: Mahá-Aggapandita (evidently our author), Dutiya-Aggapandita (his saddhivihárika), and Tatiya-Aggapandlita (his nephew), all of Arimaddanapura and all famed for their learning.
