Son of Mahallanága and king of Ceylon for twenty-four years (203 227 A.C.).
He built a wall round the Mahá-vihára.
He erected the Gavaratissa- and Bhátikatissa-viháras and built the Mahámani tank, and also built an uposatha hall in the Thúpáráma.
