A celebrated physician (the Sanskrit Dhanvantarí), mentioned together with Vetaraní and Bhoja, in the Játaka Commentary (J.iv.496, 498) and with Nárada, Angirasa, Kapila, Kandaraggisáma, Atula and Pubba Kaccáyana, in the Milindapañha (Mil.272).
