Son of Saddhá-Tissa and younger brother of Lañjaka-Tissa. He was king of Ceylon (50-43 B.C.).
Among his religious works was the construction of the Kurundavásoka Vihára.
He was killed by the general Mahárattaka. Khallátanága's wife was Anulá, and his son was Mahácúlika. Mhv.xxxiii.29ff.; Dpv.xx.12f.
