1. Manihíra. A vihára built by Mahásena. Mhv.xxxvil.40.
2. Manihíra. A tank built by Mahásena (Mhv.xxxvii.47). Aggabodhi built a canal leading out of it (Cv.xlii.34); so did Sena II. (Cv.li.72). Among the canals flowing into the tank was the Tilavatthuka, restored by Vijayabáhu I. (Cv.lx.53). Parakkamabáhu I. rebuilt the tank (Cv.lxxix.31), and constructed the Kálindí Canal to carry away the overflow from the south side (Cv.xlii.54). It was near this tank that Sanghatissa was taken prisoner by the followers of Moggallána III. Cv.xliv.30.
