The story of a man who, having offered eight flowers at the thupa of Kassapa Buddha, was born in Távatimsa, where he rode a white elephant. He had procured the flowers with great difficulty. Moggallána saw him on one of his journeys and heard from him his story. Vv.v.10; VvA.252ff.
