An arahant. Ninety one kappas ago he saw a pamsukúla robe hanging over the mountain Udaka (Umga), and being pleased with the sight, he offered before it three kinkhani flowers (Ap.ii.434).
His Apadána verses are mentioned in the Theragátha Commentary in connection both with Gosála Thera (ThagA.i.79) and with Mahákála Thera (Ibid.,272).
