A monastery in Ceylon.
At one time Abhaya was head of the monks there and interceded with the chief of the Kuthárasabhá in settling the differences between Kittisirimegha and the prince (who afterwards became Parakkamabáhu I.) (Cv.lxvii.61).
A Pańcaparivenádhipati was author of the Páli medical work, the Bhesajjamańjúsá, in the reign of Parakkamabáhu IV. of Jambuddoni. P.L.C.244.
