The Buddha, while staying at Pubbakotthaka in Sávatthi, asks Sáriputta if he believes that the five indriyas (of saddhá, etc.) if cultivated, lead to Deathlessness.
Sáriputta answers that he not only believes it, but has actually realized and understood it by insight. S.v.220f.
