1. Sotthisena. King of Benares and son of Brahmadatta. His wife was Sambulá. See the Sambula Játaka. He is identified with the king of Kosala (? Pasenadi). J.v.98.
2. Sotthisena. Son of King Mahánáma and a Damila queen. He succeeded Mahánáma in 431 A.C., and was killed, almost immediately after his accession, by his step sister, Sanghá. Cv.xxxviii.1.
