King  of Ceylon (187-177 B.C.). He was the younger brother and successor of Mahásiva. He built five hundred viháras, including the Nagarangana, Hatthikkhandha, Gonnagirika, Pácínapabbata, Kolambahálaka, Makulaka, Acchagallaka and Girinelaváhanaka. He died at the age of sixty, after being conquered by the Damilas Sena and Guttika. He was called Suvannapindatissa before his accession. Mhv.xxi.3ff.; Dpv.xviii.46f; see also Acchagiri.
