Q.  Is there an equivalant to the "Pope" in Buddhism ?.
 
A.  The short answer is NO.
    However in various traditions there are some orderly, organizations,
    wherein one comes across leaders.
       eg. In the Tibetan tradition the 'Dalai-Lama' is the accepted
       leader.
