Getting to Amaravati

PUBLIC TRANSPORT INFORMATION

BRITISH RAIL: 
London Euston line has frequent services to Berkhamsted, the nearest station.
Taxi from there to Amaravati is about £7.00.

COACH: 
From London Victoria/ Eccleston Bridge, Green Line 758/ 759 to Hemel Hempstead bus station, Mon. - Sat.

From Heathrow, Gatwick, and Luton airports, Jetlink has daily service to Hemel bus station every other hour.

If not coming from London, please check the National Coach service to Hemel Hempstead.

LOCAL BUSES: 
London Country North West 30/31 passes within a mile of Amaravati.
Departs from Hemel bus station:
10:25 (not Fri), 13:05, 16:00, 17:45 (not Sat).

It takes 10-15 min. to reach Great Gaddesden or Nettleden and another fifteen minutes to walk to the monastery.
There is no service on Sunday or public holidays.
