A Paribbájaka, mentioned (S.iv.261f) as having visited Sáriputta at Ukkácelá (Ukkávelá) and questioned him regarding Nibbána, and again (A.v.121f) at Nálakagáma, where he questioned him regarding weal and woe.
He is, perhaps, to be identified with Sámańńakáni.
