1. Satipatthána Sutta. The tenth sutta of the Majjhima Nikáya. It is identical with the Mahá Satipatthána Sutta of the Dígha Nikáya, except that towards the end the Dígha Sutta interpolates paragraphs explaining in detail the Four Noble Truths. These, in the Majjhima, form a separate sutta, the Sacca Vibhanga Sutta.


2. Satipatthána Sutta. A monk who is mindful regarding the rise and fall of things sees nothing attractive in the body, is conscious of the cloying of food, has distaste for the world, and perceives impermanence in the "Compounded"   such a one becomes either an arahant in this life or an anágámí. A.iii.142.


3. Satipatthána Sutta. The four satipatthánas form the path that goes to the "Uncompounded." S.iv.360.


4. Satipatthána Sutta. A monk who abides, contemplating body, etc., follows the path to the "Uncompounded." S.iv.363.
