3. Pāyasadāyakatthera-apadānaṃ
26. Suvaṇṇavaṇṇaṃ …pe… purakkhataṃ-evaṃ dutiyantavasena sī. syā. potthakesu dissati] “suvaṇṇavaṇṇo sambuddho, bāttiṃsavaralakkhaṇo;
pavanā [padhāno (ka.)] abhinikkhanto, bhikkhusaṅghapurakkhato [suvaṇṇavaṇṇaṃ …pe… purakkhataṃ-evaṃ dutiyantavasena sī. syā. potthakesu dissati].
27. “Mahaccā [sahatthā (syā. ka.)] kaṃsapātiyā, vaḍḍhetvā pāyasaṃ [pāyāsaṃ (syā. ka.)] ahaṃ;
āhutiṃ yiṭṭhukāmo so, upanesiṃ baliṃ ahaṃ.
28. “Bhagavā tamhi samaye, lokajeṭṭho narāsabho;
caṅkamaṃ susamārūḷho, ambare anilāyane.
29. “Tañca acchariyaṃ disvā, abbhutaṃ lomahaṃsanaṃ;
ṭhapayitvā kaṃsapātiṃ, vipassiṃ abhivādayiṃ.
30. “Tuvaṃ devosi [buddhosi (syā.)] sabbaññū, sadeve sahamānuse;
anukampaṃ upādāya, paṭigaṇha mahāmuni.
31. “Paṭiggahesi bhagavā, sabbaññū lokanāyako;
mama saṅkappamaññāya, satthā loke mahāmuni [anuttaro (syā.)].
32. “Ekanavutito kappe, yaṃ dānamadadiṃ tadā;
duggatiṃ nābhijānāmi, pāyasassa [pāyāsassa (syā. ka.)] idaṃ phalaṃ.
33. “Ekatālīsito kappe, buddho nāmāsi khattiyo;
sattaratanasampanno, cakkavattī mahabbalo.
34. “Paṭisambhidā catasso…pe… kataṃ buddhassa sāsanaṃ”; itthaṃ sudaṃ āyasmā pāyasadāyako [pāyāsadāyako (syā. ka.)] thero imā gāthāyo abhāsitthāti;
pāyasadāyakattherassāpadānaṃ tatiyaṃ;
