81. “Imamhi bhaddake kappe, brahmabandhu mahāyaso;
kassapo nāma gottena [nāmena (sabbattha)], uppajji vadataṃ varo.
82. “Anubyañjanasampanno, bāttiṃsavaralakkhaṇo;
byāmappabhāparivuto, raṃsijālasamotthaṭo [raṃsijālasamosaṭo (sī. pī.)].
83. “Assāsetā yathā cando, sūriyova pabhaṅkaro;
nibbāpetā yathā megho, sāgarova guṇākaro.
84. “Dharaṇīriva sīlena, himavāva samādhinā;
ākāso viya paññāya, asaṅgo anilo yathā.
85. “Sa kadāci mahāvīro, parisāsu visārado;
saccāni sampakāseti, uddharanto mahājanaṃ.
86. “Tadā hi bārāṇasiyaṃ, seṭṭhiputto mahāyaso;
āsahaṃ dhanadhaññassa [anantadhanadhaññassa (ka.)], pahūtassa bahū tadā.
87. “Jaṅghāvihāraṃ vicaraṃ, migadāyamupeccahaṃ [mupesahaṃ (ka.)];
addasaṃ virajaṃ buddhaṃ, desentaṃ amataṃ padaṃ.
88. “Visaṭṭhakantavacanaṃ karavīkasamassaraṃ;
haṃsarutehi [haṃsadundubhi (syā. pī.)] nigghosaṃ, viññāpentaṃ mahājanaṃ.
89. “Disvā devātidevaṃ taṃ, sutvāva madhuraṃ giraṃ;
pahāyanappake bhoge, pabbajiṃ anagāriyaṃ.
90. “Evaṃ pabbajito cāhaṃ, na cirena bahussuto;
ahosiṃ dhammakathiko, vicittapaṭibhāṇavā.
91. “Mahāparisamajjhehaṃ, haṭṭhacitto punappunaṃ;
vaṇṇayiṃ hemavaṇṇassa, vaṇṇaṃ vaṇṇavisārado.
92. “Esa khīṇāsavo buddho, anīgho chinnasaṃsayo;
sabbakammakkhayaṃ patto, vimuttopadhisaṅkhaye.
93. “Esa so bhagavā buddho, esa sīho anuttaro;
sadevakassa lokassa, brahmacakkappavattako.
94. “Danto dametā santo ca, sametā nibbuto isi;
nibbāpetā ca assattho, assāsetā mahājanaṃ.

vijitāvī ca sa jino, appagabbo anālayo.
96. “Aneñjo acalo dhīmā, amoho asamo muni;

97. “Virāgo vimalo brahmā, vādī sūro raṇañjaho;

106. “Tato cutāhaṃ tusite, anubhotvā mahāsukhaṃ;
tato cuto manussesu, jāto homi sugandhiko.
107. “Nissāso mukhagandho ca, dehagandho tatheva me;
sedagandho ca satataṃ, sabbagandhova hoti me [sabbagandhotiseti me (sī. pī.)].
108. “Mukhagandho sadā mayhaṃ, padumuppalacampako;
parisanto [ādisanto (sī.), atikanto (syā.), atisanto (pī.)] sadā vāti, sarīro ca tatheva me.
109. “Guṇatthavassa sabbantaṃ, phalaṃ tu [phalantaṃ (syā.)] paramabbhutaṃ;
ekaggamanasā sabbe, vaṇṇayissaṃ [bhāsitassa (syā.)] suṇātha me.

tiṇado mañcado ceva, saraṇabbhañjanappado;
supaṭo daṇḍadāyī ca, nelapūjī tatheva ca.
Bodhisammajjako maṇḍo, sugandho dasamoti ca;
gāthāsataṃ satevīsaṃ, gaṇitañcettha sabbaso.
