Your website looks great! All of your hard work shines through and it is obvious that you have spent a great deal of time and effort into making these wonderful pages!

99 2000-05-15 Khin Maung Oo        It will be much better for the Burmese Buddhists if you can put the Dhamma talks by famous Sayadaws in audio and vedio versions.

       1. Very wonderful and very nice to read all aritcles.we should have better insight meditation with wisdom. 2. we should promote Buddhavada and always put respect Buddha, Dhamma & Sangha in all our books, publications & without restriction of copy right because Dhamma belonged to Buddha and free for everybody as Buddha wishes. We need more articles from different or better view with detail inside wisdom and knowledge and approach. 3. Buddha Vada and Buddha Dhamma belonged to Buddha and were owned by Buddha and all our teachers, authors, writer, sanghas and lay persons are just the followers of Buddha teaching so that any Dhamma name should not be used as private names or methods or name changed & belonged to any kind of monastaries or sayadaws or gangs or teachers or writers.

I couldn't explain to our son about "Buddhism" as much as I would like to, because of my limited knowledge and the way youngsters have no time to listen, these days. Your website is the answer to my problems and worries. Thank you, Sadhu Sadhu, Sadhu.

Good to know that there exists such a nice site dedicated to the Theravadin teaching and esp. to that great Dhamma country, Myanmar. I am a Hindu who has found refuge in the Buddha's Dhamma after attending ten-day course in Vipassana Academy near Bombay.

Cool site. Looks like it took A LOT of time to make. 'Everything you ever wanted to know about Buddhism', great. Nicely done and organized. One small criticism: was disappointed to see a banner about Psychic and Paranormal. Didn't click on it so maybe it's not what I think it is. Oh well, let's not be picky. You have a beautiful site and it adds so much more to the web for being there. Thank you, Norm, ps. I hope many will benefit from it.

I am glad to "discover" such a website. Establishing a website may not be that difficult, but maintaining it is a real task. We need to be unified and sincerely work towards the common goal; i.e. cessation of all forms of suffering and enjoy real peace, real happiness by walking on the Noble Eightfold Path. I strongly like to urge not only all Myanmar Sayadaws,Upasakas and Upasikas, but every one who is interested in Buddha's Teachings to make this website a success. With boundless Metta, Tin Htoon

Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu! I would like to congratulate those who have taken a lot of hardships to compile these articles. As a Burmese I feel very happy and satisfied. For those Burmese Buddhists who have been away from home for years, they will find it most rewarding to read - not to mention those who have had children who were born out of Burma. May the good teachings of Buddhism spread and bring ever lasting peace to our world.

I am so happy that I managed to locate such a wonderful site dedicated to Theravada Buddhism that contains a wealth of information about the Dhamma-Vinaya. Currently, I have been reading the stories that led to the verses spoken by the Buddha in Dhammapada. I enjoy readings these and I really hope that I can progress in my learning and practice of the Dhamma.

A very big Sadhu to the operator of this site which has contributed much to the preservation of the Buddhasasana.

I would like to send the following message to all young fellow Buddhists: "Now I'm in my 30's and I have started taking 'Vipassana Meditation' everyday. At the same time, I'm trying to understand the Dhamma more and more. Thanks to my Dad who enlightened me to do it while young. My father has been a religious man but he could start 'Vipassana' after his retirement. I now realize that he gave me the most precious present. Let's try to englighten ourself and get rid off 'Avijja', and then, help other people do 'Vipassana" around us as much as we can."

Hello, I find these pages are very informational. Though I'm a Buddhist follower, I'd never read that much about Buddha. Please keep up the good work. BTW, some of my friends who are Catholic think Buddishism has very loose structure (i.e. going to the temple or attending mass isn't mandantory so it won't reinforce people in doing good deeds...). I do explain to them but it seems inadequate. Could you help me? Thank you, diemthuy
